Recycle the Warmth: January 28th - 30th @ All St. Vinny's Thrift Stores

Each year, hundreds of families and individuals turn to St. Vincent de Paul — Madison for blankets and bedding. Please join us this year for our 30th Annual Blanket Drive! We are collecting new and gently used blankets and bedding to disperse to clients seeking our help throughout the year.

When to donate: Friday through Sunday, January 28th – 30th, 2022.

What and where to donate and/or purchase:

  1. GIVE A DONATION so we can purchase new blankets
  2. PURCHASE and DONATE new blankets (Available at any St. Vinny’s Thrift Store in Dane County for $14.99, plus tax, January 28th – 30th)
  3. DONATE gently used blankets and bedding (Drop off at any St. Vinny’s Thrift Store or participating church, January 28th -30th)

What will St. Vinny’s do with blankets?
All the bedding we collect or purchase during Recycle the Warmth will be given away to people with low incomes who request help with clothing and/or furniture vouchers from the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. St. Vincent de Paul members visit homes and provide vouchers to St. Vinny’s stores for essential furniture and household goods, as well as new airbeds that come with sheets and the blankets donors generously gave during Recycle the Warmth.

Participating Religious Congregations – Recycle the Warmth 2022:
Participating congregations and drop-off locations will be announced soon.

Thanks to the donors, volunteers & sponsors who make our annual Recycle the Warmth Blanket Drive a success! St. Vincent de Paul annually provides hundreds of needy people in Dane County with good-quality donated and new bedding. Area churches, our seven Dane County St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores; News 3 Now/Channel 3000, and Mid-West Family Broadcasting radio stations are all supporting this annual blanket drive.

Help your budget. Help your planet. Help your neighbor in need.
