Food Pantry

Need help with food?

Our food pantry has a large selection of fresh produce, bread, meat, dairy, dry goods and more. We also offer personal-care items, pet food and household cleaning products. Some months, rent, utilities, bus fare, medical bills or fixing the car have stretched your budget and there’s nothing left to buy food this month. We can help.

Notes on eligibility:

  • Households may visit the food pantry once every two weeks.
  • We ask that one member of the household show a valid ID during check-in.

Pantry2Home online ordering

To order food online from the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry (and other pantries in Dane County), you will need to create a Pantry2Home account. Need help setting up this account? Contact us at contact@pantry2home.com.

Please note:

  • Pantry2Home online orders must be placed at least TWO DAYS before your pick up day (same-day and next day pickups are NOT available). Even though the pantry is open, you will not see the option to order for same day pick up.

  • Pantry2Home online ordering is subject to closures once it reaches capacity each week. We apologize for any inconvenience. If online orders are closed please check back at a later date for more open times; or, visit visit the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry outdoor drive-through.

Monthly food delivery for older adults:

Through Food Bridge, if you are a low-income older adult living in Madison or Monona, you may be eligible to receive a food delivery once a month. NewBridge Madison staff will work with clients to deliver food at a mutually convenient time. Click the link below or call NewBridge Madison at (608) 512-0000.

Debit-like card to purchase groceries:

The QUEST Card is a debit-like card you can use to buy groceries and stretch your budget. FoodShare (also known as SNAP, EBT or Food Stamps), a federal program, deposits money on the QUEST Card once per month. The card is accepted at most grocery stores in Wisconsin.
