Vinny’s Lockers is a storage facility where homeless people can store their belongings. People can store personal papers and items, family mementos, out-of-season clothing, and even work tools. Up to 45 people can use this free program, located in a separate building across the street from the St. Vincent de Paul — Madison Service Center. Each participant may use up to two storage bins and a secure file for papers. Participants agree to check in within 60 days of storing items, and storage may be extended if needed. Food, weapons and drugs are not accepted.
