If you or members of your Dane County household are in need of clothing, we can help.iStock_000015549299Small

Part of the reason we operate local thrift stores is to be able to provide basic-needs items, including clothing, free to people experiencing hard times. Our clothing is provided from the inventory of our Dane County stores; you’ll need a voucher issued by our Service Center (2033 Fish Hatchery Road in Madison) or by one of our many St. Vincent de Paul member groups around the county in order to receive a clothing voucher and shop with it. The value limit on a clothing voucher is up to $35 per eligible adult (up to two per household) and up to $25 per eligible child (up through 17 years of age).

Eligibility

  • You may be eligible for one of our regular clothing vouchers if you haven’t received a clothing voucher from us in the last six months.
  • Looking to receive a third clothing voucher in a two-year period? You will typically be issued a voucher you can use at our Dig & Save Outlet store, 1900 S. Park St. in Madison.
    • At Dig & Save, clothing is available by the pound.
    • The limits on a clothing voucher at Dig & Save are 35 pounds of clothing for adults and 25 pounds for children.
