Part of a global network of charity, the St. Vincent de Paul Society’s District Council of Madison has worked since 1925 to help Dane County people in need. Sales of donated goods at seven thrift stores in Dane county help fund our local services. At our Center for Vincentian Charity in Madison, we operate a large customer-choice food pantry and a charitable pharmacy; distribute vouchers for bedding, furniture and clothing; and supply other forms of emergency aid. We offer housing programs for single men, women, and women and their children in Madison.
